Rebecca Davies Custom Jewellery Review
When I started Rhythm Jewellery the concept was simple. I wanted to design the most beautiful, high quality, affordable pieces of jewellery inspired by the love of dance. Spoiler Alert I am a goldsmith and not much of a dancer....unless you count in my kitchen with my kids. I have been in the jewellery industry since I was 15... fast forward after a few years of schooling and then after a few years of training, I became a bench jeweller or goldsmith depending on what you want to call me. But if there is one thing I have learned after starting Rhythm its that dance and goldsmithing have so much more in common than most of us realize. As a fellow artist, you know that just like me, it takes hours and hours of literal blood, sweat and tears to perfect your craft. You have to be laser focused on your goals. There are days when you want to quit, days when you are flying high and can conquer the world and days when you feel like you will never learn it no matter how hard you try. You love it so much you can't stop...but some days its just so darn hard.
Sound familiar? That is why when I get a review like this it makes me swell with pride just a touch. Taking someones brand and turning it into a piece of art that represents how they feel on the inside is an amazing job to have. I am so thankful and lucky that people like Rebecca trust me with their brand to create something unique and amazing for them.
If you haven't heard of Rebecca you should stop what you are doing right now and go follow her instagram pages. Seriously...go do it I will wait......
Back? I know what you are thinking. The technique she can train these dancers to do in such a short amount of time is just well...cocobananas. It's no wonder she has such a large following. Also did I mention she is just an all around great human being? So I was absolutely thrilled to design a piece of jewellery based off of her logo that she can take with her all over the planet while she tours. This amazing box opening video was a total surprise to me and the icing on the cake after having had the chance to work with such an amazing talent. Collaborating with her was a breeze and one of my most favourite moments for Rhythm in 2019.
Take a look below at the box opening video for a peek at the piece we designed and to get Rebecca's reaction when she sees it for the first time.
